All right, Naruto fans!!!
So I'm surfing the web for DIY ramen seasonings and found one that was supposed to copycat Oriental flavor (Oriental is my favorite). But the recipe was more for boiling a pot than the pack. So I read down the reviews and tried a few things to get the seasoning taste without all that sodium and MSG. The recipe tasted bland at first, so I added more flavoring to it.
1 ramen pack, regardless of flavor. Keep the packet if you want.
I use my Rapid Ramen Cooker for this, you can find it at Target or anywhere that sells kitchenware.
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger
Pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Add Soy sauce for Oriental, eyeball it until you get the flavor you want.
For Beef, Pork, Shrimp or Chicken flavor, add 1 bouillon cube or packet of the flavor you want.
Obviously, you can change things around to your liking. I like the DIY seasoning. If you're boiling ramen, just do 2 tablespoons of the powders and 1 tablespoon of black pepper.
So yeah, that's what I have to say about that.
